Kiyo Reiryu Guild Wars

Now here is a game I absolutely fell in love with! From the Alliance battles to the Domain of Anguish, this game was fun and interactive. The PvP was pretty balanced, and the story was amazing. I eventually had to own all expansions. My favorite happens to be Guild Wars Factions solely because of the Ritualist profession. Signet of Spirit allowed you to damn near solo the entire game. the territory battles were interesting as well.

Kiyo is an extremely playful elementalist who enjoy spicy foods and traveling the world. Kiyo is a spontaneous individual, her mission is to make light of intense situations and keep her ally’s morale high. While very high spirited, Kiyo is an extremely skilled mage. 

Primarily focusing on water magic, she thrives in disrupting the enemy’s movement. Her heroic adventures can be heard upon the tongues of civilians in Elona, Kryta & Cantha.

Kiyo leaves the her experiences locked away in vault in hopes that her legend will be told to her future generations.
Along her adventures, Kiyo has made some interesting companions A skilled archer by the name of Delphinium, and a deviously kindhearted necromancer by the name of Ezera Demonus.

Project GWG: Guild War Girls

I am an avid #GuildWars player, and a growing artist and to show my appreciation to the game, I’m taking on this art project to both further my art and prepare for Guild Wars 2. 

Almost all of my close friend in the game are Male and play with the female character design, mainly because Arenanet portrays men in Guild Wars either complete meat heads(warrior) or wimps(elementalist), there are some exceptions, like the paragon & assassin, but the female character has a bit more pizzazz. lol. 

This project will include most, if not, all of my close guild wars friends, as well as new friends I’ve made on Tumblr & Facebook who also play Guild Wars. Each character will be displayed with a brief summary or history for their predecessors in Guild Wars 2. Sort of like a Hall of monuments of great heroes from my adventures in the Guild Wars World.

So Far: I have a Logo Template design for the characters so that it is easily recognizable to the guild wars community, which includes the players name, alliance, Guild Name, and Primary profession. A bio will also go along with each image. I want to have at least 5-6 characters complete by the release of Guild Wars 2.

I always feel a bit annoyed when I see the official Elementalist icon. A flame probably isn’t the best representation of the FOUR elements. Couldn’t they have done something with a more “arcane” or “energy” feel instead? Not every Elementalist likes to burn things like Cynn… at least not all the time ;)

Kiyo is a very crafty elementalist, she focuses on controlling an opponents movement with devastating water/ice attacks.
